Awesome recording. Sound is crystal clear, full and strong, so the quality is really impressive. Moreover, note this tape is stronger than the 'matrix recording' that is around (the mix between a Pre-FM and an audience sources). This recording documents another of the warm-up shows promoting the release of the album "All That You Can't Leave Behind" and the upcoming "Elevation Tour". The show was announced on late November, and tickets were only available to competition winners on US radio station K-Rock, so there wasn't a "real U2 audience". Lots of celebrities were also present in the venue.
The band covered The Ramone's I Remember You, dedicated to Joey Ramone. Mysterious Ways was played with a slow start, the same the band would use on the Elevation Tour. The highlights of the show were 11 O'Clock Tick Tock, played for the first time since 1990, and a cover of The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again.
