Comments
This recording documents the first of four great nights in Chicago, at the United Center. The highlight of the show is a beautiful rendition of Stay with a fan called Johnattan onstage playing piano. He held a banner that captured the attention of both Bono and Edge, so they invited him onstage to play along.
The tape brings a very clear and nice sound. It starts off somewhat raw, but after a pair of songs it improves and keeps a very solid and bright sound to the end of the concert. Crowd noise is audible but just add live feeling.
