Comments

Phenomenal recording, one of the topping tapes of the first leg of the tour for sure. The band put on a strong performance. Sound is quite crisp, very clean and full. Music and vocals sound absolutely upfront and have a pretty good mix. Only minors are a few screams here and there close to the taper (probably when Bono gets near the taping location), and little clipping on a few occasions. One and Walk On have been indexed together. Bono adds a snippet of More Than a Feeling of the band Boston at the end of Elevation. Great renditions of Gone, Mysterious Ways and The Fly in this show.

In my opinion, this is an upgrade to 'Send Them Watches' or other sources in circulation. I rated this one exc+, as sound is crystal clear and powerful, with music and vocals coming through so close that there is no background noise, although some may downgrade this tape because of the screaming girl, who can be somewhat annoying.
