(*) Cool Edit 2000 wav edit @32 bit:
- Used
software resampling to convert the sample type from 48kHz to 44.1kHz. Resampling
was performed at highest accuracy setting (999) with the pre/post filter
selected to give the best possible conversion. Resampling time was approximately
7 hours.
- Normalized levels across the whole show, increased levels to max, and balanced
left-to-right channel volume.
- Added fade-in at beginning of show, and fade-out at end. No fades during show
(ie. at end of disc 1 and start of disc 2).

Comments
Excellent recording of the first night of two in Philadelphia during the first leg of the Elevation Tour. Clarity is pretty good with a very sharp and solid sound. Crowd noise is audible throughout the tape with some close clapping and individual voices, but never being too detracting. In my opinion, the band put on a strong set.
This is an upgrade to the so-called 'Beautiful Night and Day' (sourced from a Sony D8 + Core Sound Binaurals mics). That alternative source also sounds quite nice but overall sound is somewhat harsh, pretty raw, and I'd say it offers more crowd noise. In both sources, vocals sound tiny distant.
